To perceive, imagine and reflect upon one’s existence in relation to the world, is an essential part of Maureen Hoon’s artistic vision. Her art explores ideas about dialogue, beauty and harmony through the convergence of philosophy, physics, cognitive neuroscience and the creative process.
In her ‘Reflections’ series, the imagery recalls water, sky and light, often interpreted as playful, dream-like and mysterious. In this series, she has carved out her own ideas of space and created a body of work that is a metaphorical journey of reflection, discovery, and inner transformation.
