Xu Jing Wen is a dreamer, and clouds are the stuff of dreams. He finds shapes and details in the billows upon billows upon billows that make up clouds. As you come closer to a cloud you do not get something smooth, but irregularities at a smaller scale. There are no rules of design or architecture in clouds. He captures something amorphous and transient, giving it form and definition. This is Xu Jing Wen’s unique approach to helping us imagine and see the beauty of the world around us.
